Shipping crate hardware for detachable wooden packaging
ORIENS supplies metal crate clips and hinges for wooden and plywood packaging. C057 and C058 are nail-less crate fasteners that connect matching panels without using nails at the clip joint. They can be used in detachable, reusable shipping crate designs, subject to the fit and condition of the complete assembly.
Choose the clip for your panel and joint
- C057: suitable for 13 mm panels; 50 mm clip width, 1.5 mm material thickness and 135 g reference unit weight.
- C058: suitable for 8 mm panels; 35 mm clip width, 1.5 mm material thickness and 68 g reference unit weight.
Both models use heat-treated Grade 50 carbon steel (Chinese grade 50), with a hardness of 42–46 HRC. Available finishes are zinc plating and electrophoretic coating. Confirm the clip drawing, panel edge and joint fit before a production order.
Hand installation; removal with a pry bar
Install C057 and C058 clips by hand on the matched crate joint. For disassembly, engage a suitable removal bar in the slot on the clip and use leverage to release it. Tool-free installation does not mean tool-free removal.

Planning a repeat supply of crate fasteners
The minimum order quantity is 500 pieces. Samples are available from stock and production lead time is 20–35 days. Total capacity across the crate clip product line is 40,000 pieces per day; confirm the order schedule in the quotation.
Zinc-plated and e-coated versions use the same packing for each model: C057 has 125 pieces per carton, a carton weight of 17.6 kg and carton dimensions of 450 × 320 × 170 mm. C058 has 250 pieces per carton, a gross weight of 17 kg including the carton and carton dimensions of 490 × 240 × 170 mm. Unit weights are reference figures; shipment planning should use the confirmed packing list.

As of September 2026, ORIENS has supplied six crate clip designs to Crocodile Packaging for 13 years, with cooperation ongoing. Combined annual supply exceeds 400,000 pieces across those six designs, which serve different wooden box configurations.

ORIENS supplies crate clips, hinges and related metal hardware for reusable shipping crates and returnable packaging systems. Wooden crates, packaging bags and other complementary items can be sourced through supplier introductions or procurement assistance on request. These are separately arranged items, not included in a crate clip order unless agreed in the quotation.
